The chrysalis, often called a cocoon, is that space created by the caterpillar where miraculous change takes place. The black lines of our logo represent the chrysalis and they also represent the boundaries of our lives.  We all need boundaries throughout our lives for growth, health, and happiness. The space in-between the black lines represents the space inside our lives, our hearts, our minds, and our souls where the change occurs.  The wings of our butterfly logo are open and inviting the change. Notice there are places on the sides that are open too, where changes might enter our lives unexpectedly.  Sometimes the changes we make in our lives comes at us from unexpected directions: our left or right.

Our work with clients is a process, that in many ways, resembles the process a caterpillar undergoes to emerge as a changed creature. The core of the caterpillar remains, but the butterfly has wings that lift it into an entirely new way of being in the world.  We assist people in defining and setting boundaries for themselves and their family, friends, and acquaintances where those lines may have become blurry or may not have ever been defined to begin with.  We create space where individuals, couples, and families can transform themselves and in turn their relationships into a new way of being in this world.

Butterflies have long been a symbol of transformation and new beginnings, new life. In many cultures the butterfly is associated with the soul and in Greek mythology, Psyche (which literally translates to mean "soul") is represented in the form of a butterfly.  Some words often associated with butterflies are: transformation, change, transition, joy, grace, metamorphosis, growth, resurrection, lightness, surrender, transcending, and expression.  There are many more, and I invite you to consider what this symbol might mean to you.
